Our after school program offers an assortment of features to meet the individualized needs of our students and their families.

Childcare — Gesher ABC

Provides families with reliable, flexible and enriching supervised childcare both before and after school. Childcare is available Monday through Friday as early as 7:30 in the morning and after school until 6pm. Families may choose from a number of options, mornings or afternoons only, daily childcare, three days per week or even drop-in care. The after-school program begins with social time and a snack, includes Gesher MAP enrichment classes, gym and outdoor play, and supervised homework, library and computer time. Melnick After-School Program Enrichment Classes — Gesher MAP

Provides an opportunity for your child to explore a hobby or learn a new skill right here at Gesher. Classes meet in 8-10 week sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays after school. Course options include: cooking, mountain biking, quilting, chess, guitar basics, electronics, karate and more.

After-School Sports Programs — Gesher United

At Gesher, students are provided with a learning environment that nurtures their bodies and spirits as well as their intellect! Our Middle School soccer, softball, and basketball teams practice after school and compete with other independent schools in the local area. While our students build their athletic skills, they are also learning about teamwork, good sportsmanship, and being competitive and inclusive. This past year, we have expanded our sports offerings to include a weekly fencing class.
