Gesher’s Board of Directors

As trustees of an Independent School we have assumed positions of leadership with responsibility for the policies and future direction of the school. The Board, working very closely with the Head of School, keeps its eye on the mission of the school while it manages the changes and challenges that are part of institutional life. The Board is comprised of parents, educators, and friends in the community. The members of the Board, who serve as volunteers, support the school through their hard work, wisdom, and financial resources. As trustees of a Jewish Day School, we aspire to govern with the strength and wisdom of our sages and guided by Jewish values and tradition.

The Board has standing committees, including the Audit, Budget, Committee on Trustees, Development, Executive, Finance, Fundraising, Personnel, Investment and Audit. In addition, committees can be created to respond to particular needs. Most committees welcome members who are not on the Board.
