Tuition and Fees

We are committed to giving our students the tools they need to succeed throughout their journey at Gesher and beyond. Our integrated General and Judaic Studies curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking and analysis and ensure that each student reaches their full potential. For most families, investing in a Jewish day school education requires careful financial planning. We are here to answer any questions you have about tuition and/or the financial aid process. Tuition Assistance

Gesher Jewish Day School believes that a Jewish education is essential to nurturing the values, traditions, and community connections that shape our students’ futures. We are committed to making this education accessible and affordable so that financial circumstances never stand in the way of a transformative Jewish experience.

A core priority at Gesher is ensuring that families who choose our school can remain part of our community through graduation. Our Tuition Assistance Program supports socio-economic diversity by providing need-based awards that help bridge the gap between a family’s resources and the cost of education.

For the 2025–2026 school year, Gesher awarded nearly $1.30 million in tuition assistance to approximately 55% of our families. We ask every family to contribute to the extent they are able, and we strongly encourage families with financial need to apply.

The tuition assistance process is strictly confidential. Applications are reviewed with care and discretion, and financial information is shared only with the Tuition Assistance Committee as part of a secure review process. Many families are surprised by both the strength of our program and the number of families it supports.

How to Apply for Tuition Assistance

The Gesher Tuition Assistance program is designed to make a Jewish education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Our goal is to make the Tuition Assistance application process as easy as possible for your family. Tuition Assistance applications are due January 31, 2026 for best consideration.

Will I Qualify for Tuition Assistance?

The Tuition Assistance committee consider each family’s unique financial situation by reviewing factors such as:

  • Income: All household income sources (current and past years’ W-2s required).
  • Family Size: Number of dependents supported.
  • Cost of Living: Local living expenses.
  • Assets & Liabilities: Savings, debts, and significant assets.
  • Essential Expenses: Medical, educational, and special family needs.

Applicants must also submit their 2025 and 2024 W-2s and their 2024 1040 tax return, including all schedules, to ensure a comprehensive review.

Duration and Commitment

Families planning to apply are required to submit a new tuition assistance application yearly to ensure that awards are based on current circumstances. To help families estimate typical awards, the table to the right provides general ranges based on Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). This information serves as a guideline, while final awards reflect a comprehensive assessment of each family’s financial needs.
